Experienced automotive Parts Manager needed for a busy import dealership in the Bronx, NY area. This is a great long-term opportunity with a strong brand, growing store, and tons of traffic. The ideal candidate is a Parts Manager that actively tries to push sales and grow the department. Moreover, we are looking for a Parts Manager that is organized and great at keeping a clean inventory. This is a busy department, with a ton of further room for growth for a Parts Manager with the vision and follow through to get their department to the next level. It is important that the Parts Manager hired creates a positive culture for both their staff and customers. The Parts Manager hired will be responsible to oversee a team of 5 people in their parts department. It’s important that this person sets clear boundaries and expectations to their team and holds their team accountable to hit their goals. The Parts Manager will report to, and have support from, the Fixed Operations Director. Must be a team player and work well with the Service Department. Experience on Reynolds and Reynolds is a plus, but not mandatory for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Forecast goals and objectives for the parts department
• Hire, train, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff
• Maintain inventory consistent with the requirements of the various departments
• Create pricing guidelines for customer categories
• Monitor and adjusts inventory
• Guarantee all parts are properly tagged
• Supervise stock order procedures
• Work closely with service manager to ensure timely turnaround of parts needed
• Provides technical assistance when necessary
• Develop and enforce guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
• Enforce safety requirements
• Maintain a professional appearance

Compensation Package:

• Earnings in the $125,000 – $150,000 range based on experience and performance, with true room for further growth.
