Parts & Service Director – South Shore, MA ($200,000–$250,000) – Kingston/Plymouth market.
Experienced Parts & Service Director needed for a well-established domestic dealership on the South Shore of Massachusetts. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven fixed operations leader to take an operation with an excellent foundation and elevate it to its full potential. The dealership has a strong reputation, significant customer demand, and all the pieces in place to become a true high-volume operation with the right leadership.
The successful candidate will be highly process-driven, organized, and committed to creating accountability throughout the service and parts departments. This role is ideal for a leader who understands that sustainable growth comes from strong policies, consistent follow-through, and daily coaching of the team.
This dealership offers a large, well-equipped service facility, a thriving parts department, strong commercial business with dedicated commercial technicians and lifts already in place, and tremendous untapped growth potential. Responsibilities:
- Lead all fixed operations, including the Parts and Service Departments.
- Improve shop efficiency, productivity, and overall profitability.
- Develop, implement, and enforce processes that drive consistent results.
- Hold managers and staff accountable to established performance standards.
- Recruit, retain, and develop technicians to support continued growth.
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with the existing high-performing Parts Manager to maximize department performance.
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience while maintaining operational excellence.
- Report directly to the Dealer Principal.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience leading automotive fixed operations as a Service Director, Parts & Service Director, or high-performing Service Manager ready for the next step.
- Strong process-oriented leadership style with excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to improve efficiencies, grow sales, and increase profitability.
- Track record of building accountability and developing successful teams.
- Strong understanding of dealership fixed operations metrics and performance management.
- Stable employment history with a reputation for integrity and professionalism.
Compensation:
- $200,000–$250,000+ based on experience, with room for growth as the department grows
