Service Advisor – Busy & Growing Domestic Dealership – Maury County, TN
An established and growing domestic dealership is looking to add an experienced Service Advisor to its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Service Advisor / Assistant Service Manager who takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience while maximizing every opportunity at the service drive. The ideal candidate will be someone others look to for guidance—a self-starter who can work independently, maintain strong CSI, and consistently drive sales through effective maintenance recommendations and upselling.
The service department is busy and continuing to grow, with additional service bays set to be completed within the next month to support increasing customer demand. This is a great opportunity to join a department with momentum and room for long-term growth. The Service Advisor hired will report to, and work closely with, the Fixed Operations Director.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience from write-up through vehicle delivery.
- Build trust with customers while maximizing maintenance and repair sales.
- Maintain excellent CSI and customer retention.
- Manage repair orders efficiently while keeping customers informed throughout the process.
- Write accurate repair orders and clearly document customer concerns.
- Recommend and sell maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle inspections.
- Review Multi-Point Inspection (MPI) results with customers and effectively communicate the value of recommended repairs.
- Maintain proactive communication throughout the repair process, providing timely updates and managing customer expectations.
- Coordinate with technicians and the service team to keep repairs moving efficiently and meet promised completion times.
- Maintain exceptional CSI by delivering outstanding customer service and building long-term customer relationships.
- Set the standard for professionalism, organization, and customer service within the advisor team.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and work toward positive outcomes.
- Monitor open repair orders and follow up to ensure timely completion and vehicle delivery.
- Meet and exceed sales, gross profit, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Maintain organized, accurate paperwork and ensure all repair orders are closed correctly.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while setting a positive example for the rest of the advisor team.
- Support a collaborative, team-oriented environment and help contribute to the continued growth of the service department.
Ideal Candidate
- Prior Service Advisor experience in a new-car dealership required.
- Domestic dealership experience preferred.
- Proven ability to upsell maintenance and repair recommendations.
- Strong CSI history and customer communication skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to thrive without constant oversight.

Schedule & Compensation
- Compensation package in the $90,000–$120,000 range based on experience and performance
- Predominantly Monday–Friday schedule, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM, with 1 Saturday rotation per month
