Collision Center Manager / Body Shop Manager – South of Boston, MA

A well-established, family-owned dealer group is seeking an experienced Collision Center Manager / Body Shop Manager to lead a high-volume, I-CAR Gold Certified collision center south of Boston. This is a modern, fully equipped facility with advanced tools and technology, supporting a strong mix of internal dealership repair volume and steady retail/walk-in business.

This opportunity offers the chance to step into a successful, well-staffed operation with consistent workflow driven by multiple franchised dealerships and strong DRP relationships with major insurance carriers. The right leader will focus on maintaining operational excellence, enforcing processes, and driving continued growth, while leading by example and setting the tone for a high-performing team.

Collision Center Manager Responsibilities & Overview

  • Oversee daily operations of a high-volume collision center
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technicians, estimators, and support staff
  • Maintain structured processes, policies, and workflow efficiency across the department
  • Ensure all repairs meet OEM standards, safety requirements, and quality expectations
  • Manage relationships with insurance companies and DRP programs
  • Utilize CCC ONE to manage estimates, supplements, and repair progress
  • Monitor and improve key performance metrics including cycle time, severity, gross profit, and CSI
  • Maintain compliance with Massachusetts regulations and licensing requirements
  • Support operations during peak periods, including occasional Saturdays when needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Collision Center Manager or Body Shop Manager in a high-volume environment
  • Massachusetts Appraiser License (required)
  • Strong background working with insurance carriers and DRP relationships
  • Experience with CCC ONE or similar estimating platforms
  • Experience with dealership DMS systems such as Reynolds and Reynolds, Dealertrack, CDK, Tekion
  • Process-driven mindset with the ability to implement and enforce structure and accountability
  • Leadership style that earns team respect and drives performance

Compensation & Opportunity

  • $175,000 – $200,000+ annual compensation based on experience and performance with room for growth
  • Monday – Friday schedule with limited Saturday needs during busy periods
